A movie that is not a "must watch". There are rave reviews for this movie all over, but fails miserably in living up to the expectations. The director's previous offering "Iyarkai" was a good one but was a box office bomb. He seems to have come out with a vengeance in this movie. Though he has been appreciated for taking up a theme like "Bio-war" I feel he need not be. The undercurrent of the movie may be bio-war, but the movie would have been the same even if anything else was taken to be it. Even same old rowdyism in politics. Because bio-war is too much of an undercurrent that one cannot even feel it at most parts of the movie. The only silver lining in the movie is the boldness of Jeeva to take up such a character that is negative for almost the whole movie. He brings out a self centered person from a lower strata, and is disgusting in the way he conducts himself in the movie. Exactly what was expected of him. But the movie fails to enlighten us on bio-war except that it is discussed in a couple of scenes. There is not much to be said about the movie. Graphics in the climax scene could have been avoided as it does no good and is more comical in such a serious point.

Bottom line: The movie would be only as good as this review.
